The 17-3 Purdue Boilermakers host the 13-4 Ohio State Buckeyes today at 12:00 PM EST in a showcase between two of the best offenses in the country. Coming off an 83-73 win over Iowa, Purdue looks to continue their ascent in the Big Ten conference standings against a Buckeyes team thirsty for an upset.
WynnBET has the Boilermakers as 9-point favorites and -470 on the moneyline (bet $47 to win $10) while the over-under is 145.

Here’s how we’re betting the game:
Purdue vs Ohio State Prediction
We should see a lot of points in this one. As I outlined here, these teams are loaded on offense but limited on defense. Purdue ranks 1st nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency and 78th defensively, while Ohio State is 14th and 96th, per Bart Torvik. Purdue is 7th in 2-point shooting and 3rd in 3-point shooting, whereas Ohio State is 13th and 31st, respectively.
Both teams protect the ball on offense and do not force turnovers on defense while shooting the lights out from beyond the arc and struggling to stop the other team from doing the same.
I expect Ohio State to come out firing to try to pull off the upset, while Purdue will look to take advantage of their mismatch inside to generate easy buckets and points at the free throw line. In both cases, the defenses should have a difficult time stopping the offenses.
Scoring 80 or more in four of their last five, Purdue’s offense is rolling. The over is 6-2 in their last eight contests and 5-1 in Ohio State’s road games this year. These trends should continue and I believe the total is a few points too low.
Give me the over 145 (-110) as my best bet as we look for some Big Ten fireworks to start this Sunday.
While I like -110, the best odds are +2000. And we don’t even need to win our bet to cash! Don’t forget to claim your offer now. Bet $10, Win $200 by signing up for WynnBET now!
