Kawann Short, DT, Carolina Panthers
Kawann Short is still a backup in the NFL, but it’s only his second season so he’s still got a lot of time to move up the depth chart. Even though he’s a backup, Short is still putting up decent stats this season. Against the Detroit Lions this past week, Short helped the Carolina Panthers defense hold the dangerous Lions offense to only seven points.
Short finished the game with three assisted tackles and has three tackles and four assisted tackles for the season.
