For the second consecutive year, the Purdue Boilermakers are heading to the Sweet 16.

The team is spearheaded by guard Braden Smith and forward Trey Kaufman-Renn, who carried the team against McNeese in the second round with 22 points and 15 rebounds in 38 minutes of action. Dating back to the start of the Big Ten tournament, Kaufman-Renn has five consecutive 20-point efforts, with seven-plus rebounds in each of those contests.

The team will draw the Houston Cougars on the second Friday of March Madness. The top seeded team in the Midwest Region, the Cougars are riding a 15-game winning streak into the Sweet 16 matchup.

For fans looking to attend the game in person, here's all the details you need to know.

Purdue v. Houston: Sweet 16 ticket prices, availability

Purdue and Houston will tip off at approximately 10:09 pm on March 28, 2025 in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The tickets are available via StubHub here. The cheapest tickets (for two) will run you about $150 each, and that's before taxes and service fees.

The good news is those tickets — noted as "Session 1" tickets on StubHub — will also get you access to the other Midwest Regional game, No. 3 Kentucky vs. No. 2 Tennessee. That game tips off at 7:39 pm; in effect, by purchasing these tickets, you'll get to watch back-to-back Sweet 16 matchups to determine the two finalists in the Midwest.

Alternatively, you can also buy all-sessions passes, which include seats to Purdue-Houston and Kentucky-Tennessee in addition to the Elite Eight game. Those will run you a cool $400 (again, before taxes and fees), though you do get access to all three games in the region over the second weekend of March Madness.

Of course, if you only care about the Boilermakers, you may want to hesitate before buying those Elite Eight tickets. For as good as Purdue has been this season, Houston has been even better.

The Big 12 regular season and tournament champions, Houston holds the nation's longest active winning streak and went 10-0 in true road games this season. The Cougars lead the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency and shoot nearly 40% from three.

That road dominance matters quite a bit since Lucas Oil Stadium is a hop, skip, and a jump away from Purdue's campus. Houston, on the other hand, will have to travel more than a thousand miles just for the right to play in front of a very hostile crowd.

If Purdue can topple the mighty Cougars, then they'll draw the winner of the Kentucky-Tennessee game on Sunday, March 30 in the Elite Eight.
