In Week 1 the Tennessee Titans defense gave up 10 points. Since then, they’ve not given up less than 26 points in each of their last four games, including 29 to the Cleveland Browns Sunday. And against the Browns, the Titans had a 28-3 lead at one point, before the Browns scored 26 straight points.
Unfortunately two former Boilermakers play on the defensive side for the Titans. Phillips had three tackles and a pass deflection and Pollard had four tackles and a pass deflection.
Pollard had an eventful game. He got mad and tried to start a fight and then got injured – possibly season-ending. Oh, and let’s not forget that he told reporters that the Titans “sucked” and that he wouldn’t root for them, just days before the game. Pollard has never been one to filter what comes out of his mouth, but probably not the best time to throw your entire team under the bus.
Phillips now has 10 tackles on the season and Pollard has 27 tackles and a sack.
