Kawann Short – DT – Carolina Panthers
It was a long night for Kawann Short and the Carolina Panthers defense as the Pittsburgh Steelers throttled them for 30 of the team’s 37 points. Short had a very quiet night in the stat book , a pass deflection, but played explosive throughout the entire game.
He’s only in his second season, but Short is starting to make a name for himself on the Panthers defense. Fans and experts are picking up on his defensive intensity, and it seems like only a matter of time before his effort starts showing up in the box score.
You won’t be able to tell by the stat sheet, but Kawann Short is playing lights out tonight.

For the season Short has recorded seven tackles and two pass deflections. The Panthers defense will be tested again next week as they travel to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
