Our very first Hammer Down Award goes to Ryan Kerrigan for the monster week he had against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kerrigan recorded four sacks and four solo tackles, while helping the Washington Redskins defense hold the Jaguars to 10 points and 148 total yards.
The Redskins defense combined for 10 total sacks and 18 total quarterback hits on Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne. That’s a pretty rough day for any quarterback.
For the season, Kerrigan has four sacks, six tackles, and one assisted tackle.
