First off I just want to say that Dennis Kelly is starting to look a lot like Kenny Powers. They could easily be brothers. And if you don’t know who Kenny Powers is, just google the name and try to tell me I’m wrong.
Ok, so enough of my random thoughts. Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles traveled to Indianapolis on Monday to take on the Colts in what most thought would be a shootout, and they were not wrong. In his first start of the season, Kelly helped the Eagles running backs, LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles, rush for 105 yards and two touchdowns. The offensive line also kept their quarterback, Nick Foles, standing upright the entire night as the Colts recorded zero sacks and zero quarterback hits.
Kelly will likely continue to start at left guard this season until Evan Mathiss returns.
