Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints

The Cleveland Browns gave Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints a battle, one that I don’t think many saw coming, including the Saints. After a solid Week 1 performance (29 of 42 for 333 yards, one touchdown and one interception), Brees had difficulty getting past a strong Browns’ secondary. Brees finished 27 of 40 for 237 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Unfortunately for Brees, his defense couldn’t keep the Browns out of the endzone and the Saints fell for the second week in a row thanks to a last second field goal.

So far this season Brees has connected on 56 of his 82 passes for 570 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He is now fifth in the NFL in total passing yards, tied for eighth in touchdown passes and sits 15th in QB rating with a 90.0.
