Here at Boiling With Bias, not only do we love to show out bias for the Purdue Boilermakers, but we also love to show our bias towards former Purdue athletes who have gone on to play professionally. With that said, each week we will bring you “Purdue Boilermakers in the NFL”, a recap column of what former Boilermakers did in their respective games.
This week we get to feature nine players, all of whom took the field at some point in Week 2 of the 2014 NFL season. There are more than nine former Purdue football players in the NFL, but because of injuries or depth some did not play this week.
We are also going to give out a couple of awards as well: the Boiler Up and the Hammer Down. The Boiler Up award will go to the player who had the better week-over-week progress, while the Hammer Down award will be given to the player who had the best performance of the week.
