By Zach Langdon
The Purdue football team had its first two-a-day of the season today. Danny Hope spoke with reporters afterward. Here is that video interview.
From Purdue Sports Information:
"“WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue football team had its first two-a-day of practices on Thursday. The Boilermakers came out in the morning in helmets and shoulder pads before returning in the afternoon in full gear.Head coach Danny Hope was pleased with the energy in the morning session as well as the defensive execution in the evening session. One reason that the defense looked so good was the play of defensive back Ricardo Allen which Coach Hope said is as good as he has ever seen out of the junior. The offense did have bright spots as well especially with wide receiver Antavian Edison. Coach Hope is very pleased with the senior for his leadership, academics, and play on the field. Gabe Holmes is also much improved on the offensive end as he put together a solid two-a-day.”"
