Purdue Pete and Willie the Wildcat Respond to Other B1G Mascots

A few weeks ago the Big Ten mascots released a parody video to the song “Call Me Maybe”. Many Purdue fans were wondering where Purdue Pete was and chalked it up to yet another miss by the marketing department for Purdue Athletics for some free publicity. Turns out, Michigan State just doesn’t know how to contact people properly and that is why Purdue and Northwestern weren’t in the video.

Today, Purdue, in a partnership with Northwestern, released their answer to the original. It is set to Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”. While I like the idea and what they were trying to get across, the video overall is just eh. There are some funny parts, but not many. Plus no cheerleaders like the other one. Take a look below:
