Purdue Football NCAA 13 Season Simulation: Week 4

TheBoilingPoints.com will be simulating the 2012-13 college football season in NCAA Football 13. In case you were sitting at home trying to figure out how to spend the next three weeks while you wait for the Olympics to begin, check back at TheBoilingPoints.com every weekday at noon eastern to see the results.

We’ll be doing one game per day, but will simulate each game three times: once with Robert Marve at quarterback, once with Caleb Terbush at quarterback and once with Rob Henry at quarterback. Sorry Austin Appleby fans, we’ll hook you up when NCAA Football 14 comes out.

In week four the Boilers are on bye week. Here are the totals so far:

Robert Marve/Simulation 1: Marve has led Purdue to a 2-1 record, with the only loss being at Notre Dame.

Week one: Marve’s stats for the day were: 16-for-31, 249 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs through the air with a 130.1 passer rating. He was sacked twice on the day and his longest pass completion was 63 yards.  He also rushed seven times for 18 yards, with a long of 10 yards.

Week two: Marve was 17-41 on the day for 195 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.He was sacked three times and ran the ball a team-high 13 times, totaling 22 yards.

Week three: Marve was 14-25 on the day for 252 yards and three touchdowns. He was sacked once, however, and threw two interceptions. He also ran five times for 20 yards.

Totals: 47 of 97 for 696 yards, eight TDs and three interceptions.

Caleb Terbush/Simulation 2: Terbush has led Purdue to a 2-1 record, with the loss being at Notre Dame.

Week one: Terbush finished with 336 yards on 19-of-32 passing and a 178.5 QB rating. His three TDs with no interceptions bolstered his numbers. The 85-yard pass to Ross was his long of the day. He was sacked twice. Terbush added 12 runs for 60 yards to his totals. All of this earned him Player of the Game honors.

Week two: Terbush was injured early in the second quarter. He finished 2-for-7 on the day, for 78 yards and one touchdown. He recorded seven carries for 36 yards.

Week three: Terbush was 13-24 on the day for 89 yards and three touchdowns. He didn’t throw an interception, but was sacked three times. He had 11 carries for 59 yards and Akeem Hunt had 44 yards and a score on eight carries.

Totals: 34-63 for 503 yards with seven TDs and zero interceptions.

Rob Henry/Simulation 3: Henry was injured in week three and is out for the season. His final totals are: 35-76 for 387 yards. He had three interceptions and five touchdowns.
