E’Twaun Moore’s third game as Celtics point guard in the Orlando Summer League was just as successful as his first two, as the Celtics beat the Pacers 85-77.
Moore played just under 24 minutes in the game, scoring 15 points on 6-11 shooting. He also went 1-3 from beyond the 3-point line and 2-2 from the foul stripe. He totaled a +13 in +/-, along with four rebounds, three assists and just one turnover.
JaJuan Johnson fell out of the starting lineup for the first time this summer, yet had arguably his best game yet. He had 11 points (5-8 from the field) and five rebounds in 21+ minutes of action.
Jared Sullinger led the way yet again for the Celtics, totaling 16 points and eight rebounds in just under 30 minutes of play.
For the Pacers, Chris Kramer moved up from his usual seat near the end of the bench and assumed the sixth man role, where he shined. Kramer was 3-4 from both the field and the free-throw line, giving him nine points. He also recorded three rebounds, two steals an a team-high +11 in the +/-.
The Celtics play the Pistons at 11 a.m. tomorrow, while the Pacers face the Jazz at 3 p.m.
