Speaking of Sullinger, the Celtics’ top draft pick from June’s draft was quite impressive in his debut, scoring a team-high 20 points and grabbing six rebound.
And for the Purdue basketball fans out there, you may know one of Matt Painter’s favorite sayings is “It isn’t who starts the game, it’s who finishes it.” Well, not good news for JaJuan Johnson. He may have started the game, but Sullinger took his place on the court in crunch time.
