Hummel, Johnson Get Back To Work Early
By Zach Langdon
The Boiling Point: Purdue’s Robbie Hummel and Anthony Johnson were shooting free throws in Mackey Arena late Monday night.
Purdue almost lost to High Point, which has been a Division-I basketball school since 1999, Monday night. Most of the blame for this only being a two-point win could probably fall on the Boilers’ free-throw shooting performance as they hit just 6-of-19 from the charity stripe. Robbie Hummel and Anthony Johnson both went 1-for-4 in the game, and both were clearly not satisfied with the effort as they were seen by Associated Press writer Cliff Brunt (@cliffbruntap) shooting free throws at almost 11:30 p.m.
