Predictions
Scott- I really want to predict a Purdue win, and I should since I predicted a 7-5 record before year. Actually, I’m going to go against what I said in the podcast and predict a win since that’s what I was going to do before we taped it. Ohio St has reverted back to form after their Wisconsin victory and are a beatable team. Stopping the run is a tall task for the Boilers lately, but O$U’s passing offense is not a threat so they should be able to keep a lot of people in the box. Stop the run, stop the Buckeyes. Purdue 24-Ohio St 21
Zach- Did anyone listen to the podcast? Scott blatantly ripped off my prediction! I was the only one to predict a Purdue win, and a 24-21 Purdue win at that. Whatever. Now I’m free to be realistic instead of optimistic. OSU 35-Purdue 24
Leroy- I am not feeling as negative about this game as the past handful, but I don’t see the Boilers winning. I do think this one will be competitive. In the end, Purdue’s offense can’t get enough done and puts its bowl hopes in serious danger. Ohio St. 24, Purdue 10.
