Kerrigan On Rookie Watch List

The Boiling Point: Ryan Kerrigan On NFL rookie watch list.

ESPN has updated their rookie watch list, and three former Big Ten players made the list. Former Boilermaker Ryan Kerrigan comes in at number 3. He was 7th the week before. Here is what they had to say:

"Kerrigan continues to make big plays. He is a game-changer. And Kerrigan now has a sack in three straight games. Having Brian Orakpo on the opposite side certainly helps Kerrigan’s cause, but this guy is a fine player already in his own right."

The other two Big Ten players on the list are JJ Watt at 7th(WI) and Adrian Clayborn at 9th(Iowa). Kerrigan is definitely making a strong case for defensive rookie of the year so far. He has 18 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1interception, 3 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, and a defensive touchdown on the interception.
