Report: Notre Dame Quarterback’s Sister Arrested At Ross-Ade Saturday

The Boiling Point: Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees’ sister Meghan was ejected from Ross-Ade Stadium and charged with public intoxication Saturday.

Not sure if this will make Purdue fans feel better or not, but by the time Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees threw his first touchdown pass of the night Saturday (yes, the third play of the game), his sister was already booted from Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Exponent is reporting Rees’ sister, Meghan, was kicked out of the stadium and cited for public intoxication at 8:38 p.m. Saturday (note: game kicked off around 8 p.m., so it wasn’t QUITE by that first touchdown pass, but whatever). Meghan is a senior studying communication at Miami of Ohio, which I found out from a simple Facebook search. That’s also where I found the above photo. Hey Megs, just a tip, but you may want to watch out for those open container laws in Indiana too.

The Exponent report says Meghan was led out by police after a confrontation with Purdue fans. Good to see her at least carrying the good reputation of Notre Dame fans on, even if she couldn’t get into the school. Don’t worry Meg, IU basketball season is right around the corner.

Update:The Exponent has obtained her mug shot.
