The Boiling Point: Starting Purdue quarterback Rob Henry suffered an ACL injury on Tuesday.

The nightmare that is ACL injuries with Purdue sports has continued. Just short of a year after starting quarterback Robert Marve suffered his torn knee ligament, one of many to high-profile Boilers in the the past couple years, current No. 1 QB Rob Henry has suffered the same fate.

After missing almost a week of practice because of an illness, Henry returned on Tuesday and suffered the injury during an indoor practice. The extent is unknown, but the injury never has a good result.

Because Marve is STILL recovering from his ACL injury and surgery, Caleb TerBush, who was academically ineligible last season, is No. 1 on the depth chart. TerBush hasn’t taken a snap in college football.

Of course, Henry’s injury happens at the worst possible time with the Boilers kicking off the season in 10 days. Stay tuned to TheBoilingPoints.com as more information becomes available.
