The Boiling Point: Joe Holland is a candidate for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
It was announced today the Purdue linebacker Joe Holland has been named a candidate for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. The award is given to the senior who most exemplifies community, classroom, character, and competition. To be eligible you have to a NCAA Divistion 1 FBS senior and have notable accomplishments in those four areas. Holland has a 3.99 GPA and has been a 3 time member of the Academic All Big Ten team. He is also an active member in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The Big Ten accounts for 8 of the 30 nominations. Other Big Ten seniors on the list are: Jeff Allen(Illinois), Michael Brewster(Ohio St.), Kirk Cousins(Michigan St.), Jared Crick(Nebraska), Aaron Henry(Wisconsin), Dan Persa(Northwestern), and Nate Stupar(Penn St.).
