Purdue Picks Up Corner Commit

The Boiling Point: Florida cornerback Anthony Brown committed to Danny Hope’s football program on Friday.

Purdue picked up another player for its 2012 recruiting class on Friday. Five-foot-11 cornerback Anthony Brown pulled the trigger when Purdue offered him a scholarship during his unofficial visit.

"“I just liked what I saw, the environment and the coaches,” Brown told GoldandBlackillustrated.com, “and I can see myself there for the next four or five years.”"

Other scholarship offers on the table for Brown were Ball State, Indiana, Iowa State, Ohio, UAB, Washington State and Western Michigan.
