The Boiling Point: 2012 mens basketball recruiting class ranked 15th.

I hate referencing Bleacher Report since they have had to retract stories so many times I’ve lost count. However, Purdue news is slow right now, so here we go.  Bleacher Report came out with their top 15 recruiting classes for the 2012 class and Purdue came in at 11th. Here is what they had to say:

"Matt Painter and the Purdue Boiler makers are looking to return to elite status in college basketball, and they are recruiting their 2012 class like they are one of the best programs. The Boilermakers have already landed three recruits, including two in the top 100. SG Rapheal Davis (No. 72) and Ronnie Johnson (No. 89) have already committed to them, and PF Jay Simpson could develop into the best recruit the Boilermakers have if he continues to improve. The Boilermakers also have three more recruits considering them, including two Top 100 recruits and No. 16 recruit, Gary Harris. The Boilermakers are still trying to get more recruits to consider them, but their three talented recruits helps them jump to No. 11 on this list."

After that write up, I’m sure you see my point on reading them.  While they have the general information correct, I don’t know who this third mystery recruit considering Purdue is.  Gary Harris they’re correct on and AJ Hammons is the other of the two others. Maybe they just took their info from ESPN and mean Mitch McGary which in no way is that ever happening.  Ship sailed on him months and months ago.

Other Big Ten schools listed are Michigan at 13, Michigan St at 4, and Indiana at 1.  If Michigan St lands Gary Harris look for them to move up. If Purdue lands Gary Harris and AJ Hammons look for them to challenge IU for the number one spot; just one of them will raise the class ranking.
