Travis Carroll To Play In Europe
The Boiling Point: Purdue big man Travis Carroll will play in Europe.
Purdue sophomore Travis Carroll will head to Europe in August for a seven-day tour with Global Sports Academy, the organization announced on Monday.
In addition to cultural experiences in Amsterdam, Bruges, Brussels and London, the GSA team will play five games on the week-long trip.
The GSA team’s competition schedule will open up on Aug. 11 against BC Geel before it takes on Holland’s U23 National Team (Aug. 12), Leiden 2 (Aug. 13) and Basics Melsele (Aug. 14). A fifth game will be played on Aug. 16 against a team still to be determined.
Carroll played in 31 games for the Boilermakers in 2010-11, making six starts. The Danville, Ind., native averaged 1.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per appearance.
