Short/Plue Named to Award Lists

The Boiling Point: Kwann Short and Ken Plue named to preseason watch lists.

Purdue defensive tackle Kwann Short and Purdue guard Ken Plue have both been named to preseason award watch lists.  Plue was named to the Outland Trophy watch list.  Short was named to the Outland as well as the Bronko Nagurski Trophy list.

The Outland Trophy is awarded to the best interior lineman regardless of offensive or defense. It presented annually since 1946, is the third oldest award in major college football.  The Bronko Nagurski award is presented to the nation’s best defensive player.
