The Boiling Point: Purdue gets fifth verbal commitment for football.
According to a report from GoldandBlackIllustrated.com, the Purdue football team has received their 5th commitment. Tight end Ryan Morris chose the Boilers over the likes of Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Syracuse, and others. He was getting interest from Auburn, Boston College, Iowa, and North Carolina. What he told Gold and Black:
"“It just felt right and I liked everything about it,” Morris said. “It’s the right decision for me.“I just felt this was the right time. Everything I felt great. I talked it over with my family and decided to commit, and it feels great.”"
The 6’6″, 241lb TE, hails from Barnegat, New Jersey. Purdue’s current crop of tight ends is very young. Their oldest player is brand new; basketball transfer Patrick Bade. Only way to make the position a strength is to keep recruiting though. He looks to have the size of being able to move to the offensive line as well; an area of immediate need for the Boilers.
