The Boiling Point: Purdue’s “World’s Largest Drum” in running for best game day tradition

(Update 2: Purdue didn’t make top 16, but still an accomplishment to be even considered in top 25 of all schools)
(Update: The voting ended yesterday. Final 16 will be revealed on SportsNation today at 4est)

The “World’s Largest Drum”, a Purdue tradition at football games since 1921, has been chosen by EA Sports NCAA Football 2012 as one of 25 traditions they will feature in the game. Once the field has been narrowed down to 16 after a vote on NCAA Football 12’s Facebook page, there will be a bracket on ESPN.com to vote for the best of the traditions. Whatever tradition wins will be revealed on the show SportsNation on July 12th, the same day the game is released.
