Purdue Recruits Dot ESPN.com Rankings

The Boiling Point: Purdue basketball recruits continue to draw praise.

Following a recent familiar trend, multiple Purdue basketball recruits for the upcoming classes got recognized by ESPN.com when it updated its rankings.

For 2012, Rapheal Davis checks in at No. 72 with Ronnie Johnson being at No. 92. Jay Simpson and Kyle Molock didn’t make the cut for the Top 100.

In 2013, high-rising wing Derek Willis comes in at No. 20. Kendall Stephens follows at No. 35 and Bryson Scott is at No. 53. Basil Smotherman was ranked before, but fell out of the Top 60 this time around.

Several guys Purdue is recruiting in the 2014 class made the Top 25, including JaQuan Lyle.
