2013 Recruit Willis Dominates In Bloomington

Not many people national recruiting people had seen 2013 Purdue verbal commit Derek Willis before Saturday, so no one really knew how good of a player Purdue coach Matt Painter landed. Well, if Willis’ performance in Bloomington, Ind., on Saturday is any indication, Painter locked up a stud.

In an AAU game against some high-quality talent, Willis went for 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and was 3-for-3 from 3-point land. The 6-foot-8 wing caused those on Twitter watching him play to gush about his skills.
