Peter King Has Kerrigan 16th

The Boiling Point: Sports Illustrated’s Peter King has Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan getting selected 16th in NFL Draft.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated released his mock draft this week. He does his mock draft by saying who the team will take and who they think they should actually take. King has Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan getting picked 16th by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but says they should pick Missouri DE/OLB Aldon Smith. I don’t really understand his logic on this one since his brief synopsis on it is praising Kerrigan.

Kerrign has been projected anywhere from 12th-26th in the draft. The first round of the NFL draft takes place next Thursday. Kerrigan will be in attendance for it. Let’s hope he doesn’t sit around like Jimmy Clausen did a few years back.
