Zeke Pike Commits To Auburn

The Boiling Points: Purdue loses out on big-time QB recruit Zeke Pike.
One of the country’s highest-profile quarterback recruits chose Auburn over Purdue on Wednesday. Pike was a Purdue target from the beginning and made his final three, along with Michigan.
Pike is a 6-5, 235-pound prospect out of Kentucky and Purdue was the first high-major school to offer him a scholarship, one of the main reasons Purdue was a finalist. Without Pike, Purdue will still try to land at least one QB in its upcoming class after not signing on for the 2011 class.
