The Boiling Point: Purdue’s women’s team adds 6-foot-4 JUCO center.
Six-foot-4 center Camille Redmon chose to continue her college career at Purdue on Monday. Redmon, who spent the past year at Grayson County College, chose coach Sharon Versyp and the Boilers over Louisville, Mississippi State and Arkansas.
Redmon got on Purdue’s campus with an unofficial visit last month and that did enough to sell the former Kansas State commitment. In junior college, Redmon averaged about 12 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks a game. She will have four seasons to play three at Purdue, which will include a mandatory redshirt season in the fall.
