Purdue Recruit Wins Miss Basketball

The Boiling Point: 2012 recruit, Hayden Hamby, won Alabama Miss Basketball

On Wednesday, 2012 women’s basketball recruit, Hayden Hamby, was named Alabama Miss Basketball. She is only the second junior to ever win the award in Alabama. She averaged 33pt and 11.4 rebounds this past season. Hamby started playing varsity in 7th grade.

Joining Hamby at Purdue in 2012, is point guard April Wilson from Louisville, KY, and center Taylor Manuel from St. Louis. This looks to be one of the best recruiting classes in some time for the Boilers.
