Purdue: Burke "Out Of Office Traveling"

The Boiling Point: Purdue basketball sports information director Cory Walton told a Missouri newspaper Morgan Burke was unavailable for comment as he was out of the office “traveling.”

I’m not sure how big of an update this is, but it’s SOMETHING at least. Purdue basketball spokesman Cory Walton told the Columbia Daily Tribune that Burke was not in his office today:

"Purdue basketball spokesperson Cory Walton said that he was not aware of a formal request made from Missouri to speak to Painter, but he added that Purdue Athletic Director Morgan Burke was out of the office traveling on Monday."

I’m going to go out on a limb, but I’ll bet you that Burke decided this weekend that he needed a little more sunshine in his life. Maybe he wanted to catch up with his old friend Mickey Mouse. I’d put money on the fact that Burke’s travel plans likely include at least a stop in Florida.
