Bubba Day Advances, Takes On Peacock

The Boiling Point: Bubba Day advanced in ESPN’s Best Name tournament. He now takes on St. Peter’s Blaise Ffrench.
Purdue’s Bubba Day has advanced to the second round of ESPN Sportsnation’s Best Name Tournament. The No. 15-seeded Day upset Brockeith Pane of Utah State in the first round. He now faces St. Peter’s Blaise Ffrench in a battle of actual NCAA Tournament competitors. Go here to vote for Bubba.
I don’t want to sound like I’m going against Purdue here, but aren’t the Boilers kind of cheating? I mean, Bubba Day is a solid name… but his real name is Andrew. You don’t see Smooge Moore competing in the tournament. I don’t know Bubba though, so what do people actually call him? Is it like “Robbie” Hummel, where I don’t think I’ve heard people actually call him something other than “Rob”? Or does Bubba actually go by Bubba?
