Painter: Barlow Should Be Back Next Year

The Boiling Point: Purdue coach Matt Painter confirmed on Thursday that suspended sophomore guard Kelsey Barlow should be back next season.
Obviously, a hot topic with Purdue during its media time in Chicago at the NCAA Tournament was the suspension of Kelsey Barlow. Purdue coach Matt Painter said he wasn’t worried about the team’s chemistry after having to prepare without Barlow for Friday’s game against No. 14 St. Peter’s and he expects Barlow to be back with the team next season given he meets some standards.
“Yes,” Painter said about whether he expected Barlow to be back next season. “We’ll sit down after of the season and set some pretty strict parameters on what he has to do to stay with us.”
Barlow is not with the team in Chicago.
