Purdue has made the women’s big dance as a No. 9-seed in No. 1 overall-seeded Connecticut’s region. The Boilers will face No. 9-seed Kansas State at 2:20 p.m. Sunday in Storrs, Conn. The winner will likely face UConn Tuesday, unless No. 16-seed Hartford pulls a Miracle on Ice 1980-type upset.
