St. Peter’s Has Confident Fans

The Boiling Point: St. Peter’s fans had to remind themselves they can’t look past Purdue and ahead to a Sunday game. They’re a No. 14-seed.

Well, you can’t say St. Peter’s fans aren’t confident, that’s for sure. One Peacock fan took to the SPC message board to remind fans “We can’t afford to look past the Boilermakers!” While other fans were quick to point out that the teams are very similar, Purdue just has “3 or 4 future NBA players,” the original poster definitely made me laugh.

I’m not saying Purdue should look past the No. 14-seed either, but we can all agree only one of the teams fans should have to worry about going into the game making sure not to “overlook” the opponent, right?
