BTT: Illinois Collapses, Michigan Advances
By Zach Langdon
The Boiling Point: Michigan advanced to the third round of the Big Ten Tournament after beating Illinois 60-55. Illinois led 34-23 at the half.
I don’t really have much time to recap this because I want to get the live chat started, but here’s what you need to know:
- Michigan trailed by 11 at halftime and won by five. They didn’t really play that much better, Illinois just had a second half collapse, as it has tended to do this season.
- Tim Hardaway Jr. took some questionable shots and hit them. A high risk/reward there.
- OSU will now play Michigan tomorrow with an appearance in the title game on the line.
- Here is the official recap.
