Purdue adds JUCO OL for 2011
The Boiling Point: Purdue has added one more player to their 2011 recruiting class
Seems like it came out of nowhere, but JUCO OL Josh McNeill has committed to play for the Boilers starting this year. According to a report from Gold and Black Illustrated, he took a visit this past weekend and committed today.
"“I went down there on my official visit and I liked all the facilities, I liked the stadium and I really liked the conference that they play in,” McNeill said. “Also, their offensive line is real thin as far as their backups go, so I felt that it was going to be a good opportunity for me to play early, play in a good conference and at the same time get a real good degree at a prestigious academic university.”"
The 6-6, 285 lb OL comes from Brenham (TX) Blinn C.C. Since he red shirted his first year at Blinn, he is a freshman eligibility wise. He will come to Purdue this summer after signing his letter of intent.
