Seniors Spoiled Painter

The Boiling Point: After four years of simply winning games, Purdue coach Matt Painter has been spoiled by JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore.
In Matt Painter’s teleconference on Monday morning, the Purdue coach reiterated how easy it has been coaching his two seniors JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore. The duo has only won more games than any other players in the program’s history.
"“With those guys, they will flat spoil you. They don’t cause you a problem. They go to class. They care. They’re coachable, and you can’t say that about every single kid that you have,” Painter said. “It’s rare, especially in today’s society, when kids want to know how they fit, what’s in it for them. They’ve helped us win. They know education is the most important thing. The people around E’Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson have been fabulous.”"
Johnson could be named the Big Ten’s Player of the Year tonight, while Moore is Top 5 at Purdue in scoring. Purdue fans, coaches and players alike will find out at 7 EST tonight on the Big Ten Network if Johnson did enough to win the league’s top honor.
