Purdue Rises to 5-0 Against Indiana In Basketball This Season

The Boiling Point: Purdue’s women’s basketball team held off Indiana to advance to Day 2 of the Big Ten Tournament. They’ll face No. 2-seed Penn State tomorrow.



Both Purdue basketball teams swept Indiana in the regular season this year. Purdue’s 66-62 win over the Hoosiers in the first round of the women’s Big Ten Tournament kept the streak alive Thursday. Brittany Rayburn overcame a 2-for-10 first half to finish with 23 points. Drey Mingo added 21 for Purdue.

The Boilers, who were outrebounded by 10, will face Penn State Friday in the second round of the tournament.
