No. 2 Seed In Latest Bracketology

The Boiling Point: Purdue is steady as a No. 2 seed playing in Chicago in the latest Bracketology done by ESPN released Monday.

Since the beginning of February, the Boilers have gone from a potential 4 or 5 seed and cemented themselves on the No. 2-line for the NCAA Tournament. In ESPN.com’s latest Bracketology done by Joe Lunardi, the Boilers sit as a No. 2 seed that’s stock is steady. The first-round matchup is against No. 15 Kent State in Chicago.

The No. 1 seed in Purdue’s side of the bracket is Kansas with the 3 being San Diego State and the 4 being Louisville. The winner of No. 7 Missouri vs. No. 10 Marquette would face Purdue in the second round before giving the Boilers an opportunity to play San Diego State in the Sweet Sixteen.

The other No. 1 seeds are Ohio State, Pittsburgh and BYU. The other 2 seeds are Duke, Texas and Notre Dame.
