Andy Katz Doesn’t Know Where Mackey Arena Is
By Zach Langdon
The Boiling Point: In his weekend watch, Andy Katz talks about how good the atmosphere will be in Mackey Arena for Sunday’s Purdue-Michigan State game.
I’m not going to pretend I’m not biased and don’t hate Andy Katz. I also won’t pretend that if this were any other writer (Sorry, but I don’t consider Seth Davis to be a writer) I wouldn’t just let this go as an innocent error. Unfortunately because Andy Katz is a ripoff artist and a scumbag, I must do this.
In Katz’ weekly watch column, he previews the Purdue at Michigan State game like this:
"“No. 8 Purdue at Michigan State (ESPN, 1 ET): The Spartans are making a push for an NCAA bid. I think they’ll get in. Take down Purdue and the Michigan State can book a flight. The Boilermakers, however, are still in contention for the Big Ten title. Should be a great atmosphere at Mackey Arena.”"
Now, I know it was probably tough for Andy to figure this out, because I’ve gone all over the internet today and there isn’t much out there as far as Purdue news, so it’s probably hard for him to find someone else’s preview and just rip it off, but come on Andy. Mackey Arena? The Breslin Center? You’re really confusing the two?
