Kyle Orton Is A Starter Again

The Boiling Point: Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton will get his starting job back as soon as NFL play resumes.

Kyle Orton didn’t want to come back to Denver next season if he was going to back up Tim Tebow. Luckily for him, new coach John Fox doesn’t plan on letting him sit on the bench.

"“I don’t think we’ll really figure it out until we start competing,” Fox said. “It’s a group of three that are very capable. Right now Kyle Orton is our starter. We have a young guy, high draft pick, in Tim Tebow who got his feet wet last year toward the end of the season. And then, shoot, Brady Quinn I’m looking forward to seeing.”"

Orton started the first 13 games of the season for the Broncs last year before Tebow was given a chance to start the final three games after Denver’s playoffs hope had been deflated. The Broncos battled injuries for most of the year, including several linemen and running backs.
