The Boiling Point: Former Purdue standout, Carl Landry, has been traded.

According to a report from Fanhouse.com, former Boilermaker Carl Landry has been traded to the New Orleans Hornets. Going to the Kings are guard Marcus Thornton and cash considerations. ESPN.com is saying that David Anderson is also going to the Kings. Regardless of who is involved, it is a done deal. Landry has seen his playing time go down lately with Jason Thompson taking his starting spot and Demarcus Cousins playing more minutes when he isn’t suspended from the team. This will help out New Orleans in the post, a spot they need improvement in. He has averaged 12 ppg and 5 rpg for the Kings this year. Will be exciting to see him running the floor with Chris Paul.
