Xavier Reese Leaves For Community College

The Boiling Point: Redshirt freshman receiver Xavier Reese has left the Purdue football team to go to Fort Scott Community College.


Xavier Reese, a redshirt freshman wide receiver, has left the Purdue football team to go to a Kansas community college.

"“I’ve decided to go JuCo for the 2011 season at Fort Scott Commuity College in Kansas,” the 6-3, 190-pound Reese said. “After my season, my recruitment will open back up.”"

Reese has one career reception, which went for nine yards, in his career at Purdue, despite the Boilers’ numerous injuries last season.
