The Boiling Point: In case you missed anything, we’ve summarized the Boiling Points from today.
Thanks for reading TheBoilingPoints.com. Here’s a summary of today’s stories. Be sure to come back tomorrow, as we’ll have a podcast featuring Paint Crew President Tom Nielsen. Don’t forget Sunday’s Live Chat during the Purdue-Ohio State game.
- Lewis Jackson shrugged off a hip-check from Jordan Taylor and delivered a sweet pass to E’Twaun Moore, who then posterized Jon Leuer last night. We’ve got the video.
- Former Purdue assistant Cuonzo Martin made a list of the nine most up-and-coming coaches in the nation.
- Sports Illustrated ranked Ryan Kerrigan among the nation’s top NFL draft prospects. The NFL draft is April 28, regardless of a whether there’s a work stoppage.
- Penn State’s basketball team is treated worse than most intramural teams. First, Bon Jovi booted it out of the Bryce Jordan Center to rehearse for tour, then the Greek community took over the practice center.
- Lewis Jackson was on the Dan Dakich show, despite the Boilers having a day off. The former Indiana coach said Matt Painter should be National Coach of the Year.
- Purdue was ranked No. 5 in the “Leaders” division for football next year. I misread it and took that as No. 5 in the Big Ten. These divisions will take some getting used to.
- A national columnist decided last night Purdue is good, despite not having Robbie Hummel. It’s February. Hummel got hurt in October.
- The writer who sent Bo Ryan on a “The Hummel Story Is Over” rant last night missed the point in the rant.
