Bo Ryan Is Over The Hummel Injury

The Boiling Point: Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan was asked if he discounted Purdue after Hummel went down, then provided a humorous, yet honest response.
Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan, like many Purdue fans including your’s truly, is getting tired of hearing about the Robbie Hummel injury. An unfortunate reporter asked the coach, who coached Hummel on last summer’s College Team USA, responded with the following:
“That’s getting old. That’s getting old. They’re a good team. They’ve had two All-Americans all season. Come on. That’s getting old. And, I mean, Robbie’s my guy! I’m not talking… This Purdue team, people should just cheer for them… with who they’ve got… because they’re good! Man. You can only beat a horse so long. I have to worry about stopping him next year! And you’re bringing him up now.
“I didn’t mean that in any way other than this is a good team.”
