The Boiling Point: The Purdue football team will face Rice Sept. 10 in Houston.
The Purdue football team will travel to Houston, Texas, to play at Rice Sept. 10. The game will be the home opener for the Owls, marking the home start of their 100th season of football.
Rice will open their season Sept. 3 at Texas, while Purdue opens against Middle Tennesee State.
The game fills the slot opened on Purdue’s schedule when Kent State backed out of an agreement in order to play at Alabama.
