Reports: Assistant Coach Suspended Indefinitely

The Boiling Point: Purdue assistant coach Mike Jackson has been suspended indefinitely for “an alcohol related-incident, according to reports.
Purdue assistant basketball coach Mike Jackson, who joined the team this season to replace Rick Ray, has been suspended indefinitely by the University for an “alcohol-related incident” according to Lafayette TV station WLFI. The report stated that the incident happened last week.
"“Boilermaker Athletic Director Morgan Burke and Purdue head men’s basketball coach Matt Painter are continuing to gather information related to the incident, according to a statement released Wednesday night by Purdue’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.”"
Jackson was on the team’s bench for Tuesday’s win over Indiana. TheBoilingPoints.com has not yet uncovered evidence that would point to an arrest.
